Glamour, beyond the meaning

Glamour was my starting point to write the book of poems Hemen (Here in English). In fact, this is a term I quite often pay attention to, and while I have tried to recognize its real meaning, I consider it a suggestive and slippy concept myself.

In most cases, it is related to fashion and cinema. Nevertheless, I would  say it is more than that; both men and women can have glamour, as well as objects, places and living beings.

With regards to people, glamour is something inborn, to make use of your own  potentiallity, being loyal to yourself. There is no need for being pretty. Glamour is a lifestyle, it is personal branding.

Key words: The look, Charm, Rebellion, Authenticity, Feminity
